A stun gun is a tool for self-defense that temporarily disables the attacker. Electro Muscular Disruption. The Taser brand manufactures this type of stun gun. The use of the gun temporarily paralyses the muscles. The stun gun can be used from a distance of upto 21 feet. There are many different models available of the same.

There are many stun guns that do not look like a gun at all and therefore, cannot be easily identified by an attacker taking him by surprise.
